Canva content can now be shared directly into your Schoology Course. To add content to Schoology after it has been created in Canva, please follow the directions below.

Embedding a Canva Design into a page
1. Log into Schoology and click into a Course you want to add content to.
2. Before embedding a design into Schoology, you will need to go into Canva from the left side bar of your Schoology Course and change the permissions on the design to allow parents to view the design. In the design, click Share and select Public view link.
In the next menu, click Create public view link.
3. In the Schoology Course, click Add Materials and then select Canva for Education from the drop-down menu.
5. Select Embed into page to directly embed the design into your Schoology Course.
The design will now be directly embedded into your Schoology Course.
Embedding a Canva Design into an Assignment
1. Log into Schoology and click into a Course you want to add content to.
2. Before embedding a design into Schoology, you will need to go into Canva from the left side bar of your Schoology Course and change the permissions on the design to allow parents to view the design. In the design, click Share and select Public view link.
In the next menu, click Create public view link.
3. In the Schoology Course, click Add Materials and then select Add Assignment from the drop-down menu.
6. Select Embed into page to directly embed the design into your Schoology Course.
The design will now be directly embedded into your Schoology Assignment.
Adding a Link of the Design to Schoology
1. Log into Schoology and click into a Course you want to add content to.
2. Click Add Materials and then select Canva for Education from the drop-down menu.
4. Select Link Text.
5. Click View design only.
This will add a text link of the design directly to your Schoology Course. This is helpful when using the design as a model, for instructions, or as a "view only" resource.
Adding a Template of the Design so Each Student Receives their own Copy to Edit
1. Log into Schoology and click into a Course you want to add content to.
2. Click Add Materials and then select Canva for Education from the drop-down menu.
4. Select Link Text.
5. Click New design for each student.
This will add a text link of the design directly to your Schoology Course. When students click this link, it will create a copy of the template for them to create on.
Adding a Template of the Design to an Assignment so Each Student Receives their own Copy to Edit
1. Log into Schoology and click into a Course you want to add content to.
2. Click Add Materials and then select Add Assignment from the drop-down menu.
3. Add a title and description for the assignment and then click the Import Content button and choose Canva for Education.
5. Select Link Text.
6. Click New design for each student.
This will add a text link of the design directly to your Schoology Assignment. When students click this link, it will create a copy of the template for them to create on.
How to Submit Canva Designs to a Schoology Assignment
Students have a few ways they can submit Canva designs to a Schoology Assignment. To submit Canva designs via OneDrive, please follow these directions:
