Your ViewSonic ViewBoard includes a variety of controls, tools, and menu icons. Refer to the information below to learn about their functions and how to use them.
ViewBoard Buttons and Tools:
Control Panel
1. IR Receiver: The IR (Infrared) Receiver is the small sensor on the front of the ViewSonic ViewBoard that receives signals from the remote control. To ensure the remote works properly, make sure the IR receiver on both the ViewBoard and the remote control is not covered or blocked. For best performance, use the remote within 26 feet of the ViewBoard and point it toward the display at an angle of no more than 30 degrees to the left or right. This helps ensure commands are received reliably without interruption.
2. Ambient Light Sensor: The Ambient Light Sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on the lighting in your classroom. This helps keep the display easy to see in bright rooms and reduces eye strain in darker environments. The sensor will continually adjust the brightness for optimal viewing.
