Using AirSync to Share Content
1. Open the ViewBoard Toolbar and then press the Applications icon.
2. Click on the AirSync icon.
A display code and one-time password will appear on your ViewBoard.
3. Open the AirSync app on your laptop.
Please Note: If you have not downloaded this app yet, then you will need to install it from the Company Portal app on your laptop. Click this link for directions on downloading apps from the Company Portal: SAU19 Knowledge Base - Installing Software on Your PC (Applications, Printers, etc.).
4. Enter the Display Code and One-Time Password shown on the ViewBoard into the AirSync app on your laptop, then click Next to continue.
5. Click Share.
6. On the dialog that appears, select the resource you want to share and then click Share.
- Entire screen. Share everything displayed on your screen.
- Window. Share a specific application or window. The selected window must be open and not minimized.
- Screen extension. Create a virtual second screen that acts like an additional monitor. You can move applications or windows to this extended screen and share only that content, keeping the rest of your desktop private.
Your chosen content will now display on your ViewBoard.
Manage Sharing Controls
Pause: Press the Pause button to temporarily stop screen sharing while keeping the connection active. Press it again to resume sharing your screen.
Stop Presenting: Press Stop Presenting to end the sharing session and return to the AirSync connection screen.
Touchback: Toggle on the Touchback allow button to enable Touchback to control your laptop directly from the ViewBoard. When turned on, touches, stylus input, and other interactions on the ViewBoard are sent to the connected device, allowing you to navigate and interact with your computer from the display.
Utilizing Split Screen Sharing
When two or more participants share their screens at the same time, AirSync automatically switches to split-screen mode, displaying each shared screen in its own panel.

- AirSync automatically arranges shared screens for easy viewing and collaboration.
- Select a screen to enlarge it or return to the split-screen view as needed.
Auto-Enable Split Screen
When multiple users share their screens, AirSync can automatically display all shared content in a split-screen layout.

During an active screen-sharing session, select More in the lower-left corner of the screen to view additional options.

Select Add Screen to invite another participant to share their screen.

On the Share Your Screens window, additional presenters can connect by:
- Entering the Display Code and One-Time Password, or
- Scanning the QR Code.

Once additional participants connect, the ViewBoard will automatically switch to split-screen mode and display all shared screens simultaneously.
Individual screen controls are available for each split panel:
- Mute: Disables the sound from the selected panel
- Expand: Switches the selected panel to full screen
- Disconnect: Removes the panel from the sharing session.
Additional Information:
- An AirSync sharing session can remain active for up to three hours. Five minutes before the session ends, a countdown timer will appear in the lower-right corner of the screen. If needed, you can extend the session up to two additional times, allowing for a maximum sharing duration of nine hours. After the final countdown expires, the sharing session will automatically end.
