View and Compare Student Assignment Lists in Schoology and PowerTeacher Pro

Comparing the student assignment lists in both the Schoology and PowerTeacher Pro can help you determine which what is causing the grade calculations to not match in both Gradebooks.

Viewing the Assignment List for a Student in Schoology: 
1. Click into your Schoology Gradebook.


2. Click on the histogram icon next to a student's name and the list of all their assignments for that grading period will open.
   

3. Click on the drop-down arrow next to the Grading Period you want to view and the drop-down arrow next to the Categories to see the assignments in each Category.

Viewing the Assignment List for a Student in PowerTeacher Pro: 
1. Sign into PowerSchool and click into PowerTeacher Pro.

2. Click on Grading on the left side bar and then click on Scoresheet.


3. Click on a student's name and the list of all their assignments for that Grading Period will open. To the left of the assignments, you will see their Categories.


Now compare the Schoology Assignment List to the PowerTeacher Pro Assignment List. If there is an extra assignment in Schoology, but not PowerTeacher Pro, then sync the missing assignment. If there is an assignment in PowerTeacher Pro that is no longer in Schoology, then follow the directions in this link to restore the assignment in Schoology: SAU19 Knowledge Base - How to Restore Deleted Assignments in Schoology. If it grades were entered into a Grade Column and not an assignment and that Grade Column was deleted, you will not be able to restore it. You will need to add it back into Schoology. If the assignment was unpublished, just publish it again. Use the Bulk Edit screen to help locate unpublished assignments.
