If you have a physical phone in a space that is not shared with other staff (such as in an office):
You can access your voicemail for the initial setup by pressing the "cassette tape" button on your phone.
Voicemail passcode rules:
- Must be 6 digits
- Cannot use users own extension or phone number (forward or reversed)
- Cannot contain same digit more than 5 times in a row
- Cannot contain more than 4 sequentially ascending or descending digits
If you don't have a dedicated phone, or are a classroom teacher:
For professional staff who are in a shared space and do not have an individual telephone, but have a telephone extension assigned, you will need to set up your voicemail by doing the following:
- Using any telephone in the building, dial your own telephone extension
- Press the * key
- Follow the prompts on the phone to set up your voicemail. You will use the same Passcode that was defined above.
Once your voicemail has been set up, all messages will be sent to you via email. The sender will be donotreply@vmail.consolidated.net.
