Parent Accounts - Not Receiving the Parent Daily Digest Emails

Parents will receive a Daily Digest Email will a summary of daily information for all their children on one email. This summary will include information such as:

*Updates - messages teacher write to the class

*Important Dates/Events

*Upcoming Assignments if due dates are attached

*Overdue Assignment or Submissions

*Recently Completed Assignments - if submitted electronically

*Assignment Score (Grades 7+)


If a parent clicks on an item within the email, they will be prompted to log into their Schoology account and then they can see more details about child's classes.


Please Note: If parents did not verify their email address during the registration process, they will need to complete this step to receive these Digest emails. Parent should also check their Junk/Spam folders to see if the Daily Digest Emails are being filtered to those folders.


To verify your email, please follow these directions:

1. Log into your Schoology Parent Account.


2. If logged in via a browser, click your profile name/image in the upper right-hand corner. If on the App, click the menu (3 horizontal lines) in the upper left-hand corner.

*If you are on a browser, please make sure your name has the checkmark next to it. If your child's name is checked, click on your name before completing the next steps.

   


3. If on a browser, click Settings from the drop-down menu. If on the App, click Account Settings from the menu.

   


4. You will see your email listed. If you have not verified your email, click Resend verification email. This will send a new verification link to your email. 


If you do not see Resend verification email, then click Check Status. This with check to see if there are any issues with your email address.


5. Log into your email and click the verification link to verify your email.


You will now begin to receive the Daily Digest Emails.
