SAU19 Knowledge Base - Pinning Skills Plans in IXL to Align with Wonders, Math & You, and Modeling Real Life

Teachers can pin Skill Plans in IXL. This connects the Wonders, Math & You, and/or Modeling Real Life Programs to your accounts for easier access. This allows teachers to go into the Skills Plans and assign IXL lessons that directly correlate with the content being taught in class for Language Arts and Mathematics. To pin your Skill Plans in IXL, please follow these directions:

1. Click on IXL from the left side bar of your Schoology Course.

2. Click My Account.

3. Click the Learning tab in the navigation menu.

4. Select Skill Plans from the right-hand side of the menu.

5. Scroll down until you locate the specific online curriculum program you want to pin and click the drop-down arrow next to the title.

6. Click the lightbulb icon next to the grade you teach.

Your Skill Plan is now pinned and can be accessed from the top of your Skill Plans page.

7. Repeat these steps for any online curriculum programs you are teaching in class (Wonders, Modeling Real Life, Math & You, etc.)

You will now be able to see the IXL lessons that align with the curriculum program you have selected. These can be assigned directly in Schoology.
