Printing Projects Created in Canva (Teachers)

Follow these directions to print a project created in Canva.

1. Log into Canva and open the project you want to print.

2. Click Share in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Click the arrow to the right of Download.

4. Click the drop-down arrow under File type and select the desired file download type. The recommended file type is PDF Standard

You can select to print all pages in the document or just specific pages. It will default to all pages. To select specific pages, click on the Select pages drop-down menu and check the boxes next to the page number you want. Then click Done.

5. Click Download.

6. Locate you file in your Downloads folder on your device by clicking on the File Explorer (yellow folder) icon in the taskbar.

7. Click on Downloads and then double-click on the file you want to open and print.

8. Once the file opens, click the printer icon.

9. Select the printer you want to print to.

10. Then click Print.

The files can now be located on the chose printer. If it is a Xerox machine, the print job will need to be released using PaperCut: SAU19 Knowledge Base - Using PaperCut to Access Xerox Copiers

Educators can also save projects directly to their OneDrive accounts following these directions: SAU19 Knowledge Base - Save Canva Designs Directly to Your OneDrive Account.
Once it is in OneDrive, you can follow these directions to print the project:

1. Log into Microsoft 365: https://www.microsoft365.com/apps.

2. Log into your account using your normal username followed by @sau19.org and click 'Next'.


3. Enter your normal computer password and click 'Sign in'.

4. Once in Microsoft 365, click on OneDrive.

5. The landing screen will include your most recent files (owned by you and shared with you). You can search for the file by name or double-click on it under recent documents.

You can also click on the My Files (folder icon) on the left side bar and then double-click on the file you want to open and print.

6. Once the file opens up, click the 3 dots for more options and select Print.
The document will open in a new tab.

7. Click the printer icon.

8. Select the printer and other desired settings and then click Print.

The files can now be located on the chose printer. If it is a Xerox machine, the print job will need to be released.
