The Camera Translation feature in the Microsoft Translator app allows users to translate text captured through their device’s camera in real time. Its main purpose is to help users understand foreign languages in visual contexts such as signs, labels, or documents without needing to type anything.

To utilize the Camera Translation in the Microsoft Translator app, please follow these instructions:
1. Launch the Microsoft Translator App.
2. Tap the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. Grant the app permission to access your camera if prompted.
3. Point your camera at the printed text you want to translate (e.g., book pages, signs, menus).
4. Tap the camera button to take a picture. Wait a few seconds for the app to process and display the translated text.
Please Note: Text formatting may affect translation accuracy, but typical printed materials work well.
Additional Tools & Options
After capturing and translating an image, you’ll see several icons at the top of the screen:
- 🌐 Change Language: Select the source and target languages.
- 🔄 Translation Toggle: Turn the translation overlay on or off.
- ⭐ Favorite: Save the image for future reference.
- 📤 Share: Send the translated image to others.
- 🗑️ Delete: Remove the image and start over.
