Using the Microsoft Authenticator App to Access Your Accounts Off Campus

Once you have had MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) set up on your account, you will need to use the MFA method you chose upon set up to access your accounts any time you are not connected to the district WIFI. If you have selected to use the Microsoft Authenticator App, please follow these directions:

1. Log into your Microsoft 365 online account by going to: https://www.microsoft365.com/apps and enter your normal username (first initial and last name without spaces), followed by @sau19.org. Click Next.


2. Enter your normal computer password and click Sign in. If will ask if you want to stay logged in, select a response.

3. A two-digit code will appear on your screen and prompt you to enter it into the Microsoft Authenticator App. Open your Authenticator App on your mobile phone and enter the two-digit code. Then click Yes.
    

You will now be logged into your accounts. 

Please Note: If the authentication fails or does not give you a number to use to sign in, you can use the manual method.
1. Open your Authenticator app on your mobile device and click on your account.

2. Copy the One-time password code.

3. On your PC screen, you can choose to authenticate another way using a password code. Click that option and enter the One-time password code.
