Using a YubiKey to Access Your Accounts Off Campus

    Once you have had MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) set up on your account, you will need to use the MFA method you chose upon set up to access your accounts any time you are not connected to the district WiFi. If you have selected to use a YubiKey, please follow these directions:

    1. Log into your Microsoft 365 online account by going to: https://www.microsoft365.com/apps and enter your normal username (first initial and last name without spaces), followed by @sau19.org. Click 'Next'.

    2. Enter your normal computer password and click 'Sign in'. If will ask if you want to stay logged in, select a response.

    3. A prompt will appear to enter a code. When this appears, plug your YubiKey into one of the USB ports on your laptop (the Y logo should be facing up).
         
    4. Open the Yubico Authenticator App on your device.

    5. Double click on your account, which will copy a code. 

    6. Paste the code into the Microsoft prompt and click 'Next'.

    You will now be logged into your accounts. You can unplug the YubiKey once logged in.
