Changing the Privacy Settings When eFinance Will Not Load

If the eFinance website does not seem to be loading or only loads a blank white screen, you will need to clear your cache or adjust your browser's privacy settings. To change your settings, please follow these directions:

Clearing Cache:

Firefox
1. When in the Firefox browser, click on the menu icon (3 parallel lines) in the upper right-hand corner and choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

2. Click on Privacy & Security in the left side menu.browser, click on the menu icon and choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

3. Click on Privacy & Security in the left side menu.

4. Scroll until you see Cookies and Site Data and click on Clear Data.

5. Uncheck Cookies and Site Data and select Clear (keep Cached Web Content checked).

6. Close the Settings Tab.
7. Refresh your eFinance webpage, or if you already closed it, open a new Firefox window and log in again.

Microsoft Edge
1. When in the Edge browser, click on the menu icon (3 dots) in the upper right-hand corner and choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

2. Click on Privacy, search, and services in the left side menu.

3. Scroll until you see Cookies and data stored and click on Manage and delete cookies and site data.

4. Uncheck everything except Cached images and files and then click Clear now.

5. Close the Settings Tab.
6. Refresh your eFinance webpage, or if you already closed it, open a new Firefox window and log in again.


Manage Cookie and Pop-up Redirect Exceptions:

Firefox
1. In the Firefox settings, click back on the Privacy & Security tab. 

2. Scroll until you see Cookies and Site Data and click on Manage Exceptions.

3. Add the eFinance website link (https://efp2011.efinanceplus.powerschool.com) into the Address of website field (you can copy and paste the actual website from our browser if you have it open). Then click Save changes.

4. Go back to the Security & Privacy tab and scroll until you see Block pop-up windows and Warm you when websites try to install add-ons.
5. Click the Exceptions button for each of these and add the eFinance website to the allowed list for them and then press Save Changes.

6. Close the Settings tab.


Microsoft Edge
1. In the Edge settings, click on the Cookies and site permissions tab. 

2. Scroll until you see Cookies and data stored/Cookies and site data and click Add in the Allow section.

3. Add the eFinance website link (https://efp2011.efinanceplus.powerschool.com) into the Site field (you can copy and paste the actual website from our browser if you have it open). Then click Add.

4.Click the back arrow next to Cookies and data stored/Cookies and site data.

5. Scroll until you see Pop-ups and redirects and click the arrow to the right of it.

6. Click Add in the Allow section.

7. Add the eFinance website link (https://efp2011.efinanceplus.powerschool.com) into the Site field (you can copy and paste the actual website from our browser if you have it open). Then click Add.
8. Close the Settings tab.
