When using the Xerox copy machines, you may experience a time when you release a print job that was sent to the copier, but it does not print. In this case, please DO NOT resend the job to the copier. Please be mindful of others that are waiting to use the copiers. Sending a job multiple times will delay printing times and use unnecessary resources. There are reasons it may not have printed; therefore, please check these items first:
1. Make sure the copier is not out of paper. If it is, refill the paper tray.
2. Make sure the copier is not out of toner. Check to see if there is any message indicating this.
3. Check the selected paper size. If the incorrect paper size was selected, it will not print. Be sure to select 8.5 X 11 when copying.
4. The copier may be in sleep mode if it has not been used in a while. Simply wake the machine up by clicking on the menu screen.
5. Check the job status to see if the job has been paused.
If all of these items have been checked and there is no known issue causing the job failure, then resend the print job once. If it still does not print, please submit a technology support ticket.
