Uploading Pictures from an iPad to the Photos App

Transferring Photos from a School iPad to Your PCs

Educators can easily upload photos taken on a school iPad into their Photos app. To do this, please follow these directions:
1. Log into OneDrive on the iPad. (You can go to office.com and log in. Then click on the 'OneDrive' app).
2. Upload any photos you took to your OneDrive account. It is recommended that you create a folder in your OneDrive account titled 'Photos' and upload any photos into that folder.
3. Open the Photos app on your PC. 
4. Be sure you are logged into the Photos app. If you are not, please follow these instructions to log in: SAU19 Knowledge Base - Signing Into the Photos App.
5. Click the import icon in the upper right-hand corner.
6. Select 'From a folder'.
7. Click on the 'OneDrive - SAU19' folder from the left side menu.
8. Click on the 'Photos' folder you created and then click on 'Import items from this folder'. You do not need to click into the folder to select photos. That will be done in the next step.
9. The folder will open in the Photos app. Select the check box above the photos you want to import. If you want to delete them from your OneDrive account after they import, also select 'Delete after import' and then click on 'Import _of_ items'.
Your photos will now be imported into your Photos app.
