How to Cite a Database Article:

When using information from a database article in a project, essay, research, or other school materials, you will need to cite it. To do this, please follow these instructions.

Citing a World Book Online Article
1. Open the World Book Online article you used for your work.
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Select 'Citation' from the drop-down menu.

4. Highlight the citation listed under 'MLA' and copy it by right-clicking on it and select copy or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'C' at the same time.
5. Paste the citation into your works cited section of your work by right-clicking on it and select paste or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'V' at the same time.

Citing a Gale Database Article
1. Open the Gale Database article you used for your work.
2. Click on 'Cite' in the top menu.
3. Be sure that 'MLA 9th Edition' is selected and then click on 'Select' to highlight the citation.

4. Copy the citation by right-clicking on it and select copy or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'C' at the same time.
5. Paste the citation into your works cited section of your work by right-clicking on it and select paste or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'V' at the same time.

Citing a PebbleGo/PebbleGo Next Article
1. Open the PebbleGo/PebbleGo Next article you used for your work.
2. Click on 'Cite' from the bottom menu.
3. Click on 'Copy' in the 'MLA' section to copy the MLA citation. Once it has copied, it will show a green button with a checkmark stating it was copied.
   
4. Paste the citation into your works cited section of your work by right-clicking on it and select paste or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'V' at the same time.
