When you use information from an eBook in a project, essay, research paper, or other school assignment, you must cite the source. Follow the instructions below to do so:
1. Locate the eBook you need to cite.
2. Click on the title of the eBook you used in your work, but do not open the eBook itself.
3. When the side bar menu opens, click View More Details.
4. Scroll down until you see tabs under the Overview section and click on the Citations tab.
3. If the Format does not display MLA9, click on the drop-down menu and select it.
4. Click on the Copy icon (two overlapping rectangles) to the right of the citation to copy it.
5. Paste the citation into your Works Cited section of your work by right-clicking on it and select Paste from the menu or press and hold the Ctrl key and press the V key at the same time.
