How to Cite an eBook

When using information from an eBook in a project, essay, research, or other school materials, you will need to cite it. To do this, please follow these instructions.

1. Click on the link or title of the eBook you used in your work, but do not open the eBook itself.

2. Scroll down until you see a menu bar and click on 'Citations'.

3. If the 'Format' does not display MLA8, click on the drop-down menu and select it.

4. Click on the two rectangles icons to the right of the citation to copy it. 

5. Paste the citation into your works cited section of your work by right-clicking on it and select paste or press and hold 'Ctrl' and press 'V' at the same time.
