Download Files and Folders from Your OneDrive Account

Staff and students in Grades 5+ have a Microsoft 365 account. If you need to download files or folders from your OneDrive account, please follow these instructions:

1. Sign into your Office 365 account: www.office.com.
2. Click on the App Launcher (waffle) icon.
3. Click on OneDrive from the menu.
4. It will default to displaying 'My Files' from the left-hand side. When you hover over a file or folder in your OneDrive account, a circle will appear. Click into the circles of all files and folders you would like to download.

5. Click on 'Download' from the navigation bar.
Your files and folders will now download onto your device. If you selected multiple or large files, your files will be downloaded as a .zip file. You may want to consider saving your download files onto a USB flash drive once they finish downloading.

Please Note:

*You will not be able to save files directly from the 'Shared' tab. If you want to download a file or folder that was shared with you, then you will need to save a copy of it your OneDrive first.
