By default, Outlook will sort messages in Focused Inbox and Other. Focused emails are ones that Outlook determines may be important to you. Be aware, that if you rely on the Focused Inbox messages, you may miss out on some important emails. The Focused Inbox can be turned off so you can view all your messages in one place. Please follow these directions to turn off Focused Inbox:
Outlook Desktop App
When Focused Inbox is turned on, you will see the Focused and Other tabs at the tops of your messages.
1. Click on the View tab from the navigation menu at the top and then click on Show Focused Inbox to deselect it.
Your Focused Inbox will now be turned off and the tabs above your messages will change to ALL and Unread.
Outlook Online App
When Focused Inbox is turned on, you will see the Focused and Other tabs at the tops of your messages.
1. Click on the Settings gear in the top right-hand side of the page, near your profile icon.
2. Click on the Mail tab on the left side bar and then click on the Layout tab.
3. Click the circle to the left of Don't sort my messages.
4. Click Save.
Your Focused Inbox will now be turned off and the tabs above your messages will change to Inbox.
