Merging Your Outlook Calendars

When you go into your Outlook Calendar, you can view your work calendar and any other calendars you have created. If you need to merge calendar events you created into your work calendar, please follow these steps:

1. Open you Microsoft Outlook in Microsoft 365 (log into portal.office.com).
2. Click on the 'Calendar' icon from the left-hand side (this may also be located in the lower left-hand side) to open the Outlook Calendar.
3. Click on the settings gear from the upper right-hand corner and then click on 'View all Outlook settings'.
4. Click on 'Calendar' and then click on 'Shared calendars".
5. Click the drop-down arrow under the 'Publish a calendar' section and select the calendar you want to merge into your work calendar.
6. Click the drop-down arrow to choose your permissions and select 'Can view when I'm busy'.
7. Click 'Publish'.
8. Once the publish links appear, click on the link listed next to 'ICS' and select 'Download'.
9. Click on 'Add calendar' from the left side menu.
10. Click on 'Upload from file' and then click 'Browse'.
11. Locate and click on the 'iCalendar File' you just downloaded.
12. Click the drop-down arrow to select what calendar to import the file into. Be sure to select 'Calendar' since this is the calendar set up by the district.
13. Click 'Import'.
Your calendar will now be merged into your work calendar. 

Once this has been completed, you will want to delete the old calendar. You can do this by following these steps:
1. Right click on the old calendar you just merged into your work calendar and select 'Remove'.

2. When the 'Remove calendar' message appears, click 'Remove'.
