Students have discovered that they can turn the Wi-Fi off on the mobile cart laptops. As a result, this can prevent other users from logging in. While we look to disable this functionality globally, there are a few simple steps that can be done to “fix” it when a student makes this change.
1. If a student cannot log-in due to airplane mode being enabled, you will see a picture of an Airplane in the bottom left corner of the login screen.
2. If you click on the Airplane icon you will see that Airplane mode is highlighted, and the Wi-Fi is turned off.
3. Click on the Airplane mode button to turn that off and then check the Wi-Fi button, making sure that SAU-19 is selected. If it is not, click the Wi-Fi button to select that network.
These steps will re-enable the Wi-Fi on the device and students will now be able to log in.
