You can easily take screenshots with your new PC. To do this, please follow these instructions.
Taking a Screenshot of Your Entire Screen (Windows 10):
1. Open the webpage, image, message, or other item you want to take a screenshot so it is appearing on your PC screen.
2. Press and hold down the 'Windows' key and then press the 'prt scr' key.
+ A screenshot will now be saved in your screenshots folder.
Locating Your Screenshots Folder:
1. Click on the 'File Explorer' icon from your taskbar.
2. Open the 'Pictures' folder from either the left side bar or from under the 'Frequent folders' and you will see the 'Screenshots' folder in there.

3. Open the Screenshots folder and you will see any screenshots you have taken.

Taking a Screenshot of a Specified Area (Windows 10 and 11):
1. Open the webpage, image, message, or other item you want to take a screenshot so it is appearing on your PC screen.
2. Hold down the 'Windows' key, the 'Shift' key, and press 'S' and a tool bar will appear.
3. Select the tool you want to use and click and drag to select the area for the screenshot.
4. Windows 10-When the 'Snip saved to clipboard' message appears in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, click on that to edit your screenshot.
Windows 11-The screenshot will automatically save to your screenshot folder.
5. Use the tools to edit your screenshot.
6. After any editing is complete, click the 'Save' icon in the upper right-hand corner, and select where to save the screenshot.
To save it into the 'Screenshots' folder, click on the 'Pictures' folder and you will see the 'Screenshots' folder in there.

3. Open the Screenshots folder and you will see any screenshots you have taken.

7. Name your screenshot and then click 'Save'.
