Calling a Staff Member from Microsoft Teams
From the Microsoft Teams App you can create an audio call with another staff member or even create an instant meeting with them, by calling them into the meeting. To do this, please follow these directions:
1. Open your Microsoft Teams App.
2. Click on Cisco Calls from the left side bar.
If it's your first time using Cisco Calling, you will need to download the Webex app and log into Cisco calling on your device. You will need to enter your full email to log in.
3. Click Use a different account.
4. Enter your full email (firstname.lastname@sau19.org) and click Sign In.
If you have not downloaded the Webex app on your device yet, you will receive this message:
Open the Company Portal app.
In the search field type webex and then click Enter. When the Webex app appears, click on it.
Click Install.
Once it is installed, you will be able to utilize Cisco calling.
5. Enter the phone number of the person you want to call (including the area code). Then click Audio to make a voice call or Video to make a video call. If you are calling a staff member, you will need to enter the full phone number for that staff member, including the area code (this call will ring on both their computer and their room phone).
Any recent calls will display on the right-hand side.
