Schoology Mobile App Instructions for Parents
*Please note that we highly recommend parent utilize their browsers to access parent accounts since the Schoology app has limited functionality and can have issues opening documents as compared to the online website.

1. Open the Schoology app and use the option to Log in through www.schoology.com. Click on the Sign in with my account button.
2. Enter your log in credentials and click Sign In.
For Parents/Guardians with Both PowerSchool and Schoology Accounts (Created Before the PowerSchool Product Enhancement)
Log into your Schoology parent account using the same username or email as your PowerSchool parent account, along with the password you previously set for Schoology. If you need to reset your password, please follow the directions in this link: SAU19 Knowledge Base - Parent Accounts - Resetting Your Password.
For Parents/Guardians with a Schoology Account but No PowerSchool Account
Log into your Schoology parent account using the credentials you chose when creating your account.
For Parents/Guardians with a PowerSchool Account but No Schoology Account (Before the PowerSchool Product Enhancement)
To set your Schoology password for the first time, follow these instructions: SAU19 Knowledge Base - New Parent Accounts - Setting Your Password for the First Time. If you've already completed this set, you can log in using the password you created.
Please Note: When you enter your account, no Courses will show, since as a parent, you are not enrolled in any Courses.
3. Click on the Menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
4. Click on My Children from the menu.
5. Click on More in the menu and click on the child's name visible in the menu. In the new screen you will see an arrow next to the student's name that you are viewing. You can click on a different child's name to view their account.
6. Use the top navigation bar to go into your child’s Courses and Groups.
7. Click More from the navigation bar and then Calendar to view your child’s calendar. If you have a child in grades 7+, you will be able to view points scored on individual assignments under the Grades button. Please Note: All calculated grades are viewable in PowerSchool and MyPowerHub only.
When inside a Course, you will see many curriculum resources. Parents will not be able to access these resources through their account. Instead a Private Access Only message will appear. If you receive this message, simply navigate back to your child’s account by clicking the back button on your browser or by clicking on the Return home button in this message.
7. Click Courses and then click a class to view content teachers posted in the class.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see some icons. Click on these to view Updates teachers post, Upcoming assignment due dates, and Grades for points scored on each assignment - Grades 7+.
8. To change notification settings or check your messages, click on the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner and then select your option from the drop-down.
9. When you are done accessing your Schoology account, please remember to log out by clicking on Logout under the menu options.
