Teachers and Students need to "authorize" Schoology to connect to Google. To do this, please follow these instructions:
1. When trying to open a Google Resource, you may see the following screen (it may or may not show the red error banner at the top). Click on the Options drop-down menu and then click on Account Settings.
2. Click on Sign in with Google. Sign in using your SAU #19 Google log in information.
3. When it asks you to allow Schoology to access your account, click Allow.
This will allow Google to connect to Schoology.
4. If the next screen states that Google needs access, click on the little blue here link and then click Allow. The document will then load. If you get a second screen asking you to allow cookies access, click the blue here link and select Allow.
Sometimes it may say access denied after signing in, but if students just sign in again, this should correct.
If they still get an error message, it may be due to Cookies or the cache that will need to be cleared.
