Google Schoology Integration - Embedding Google Forms

Teacher can embed a Google Form into a Schoology Course. To embed a Google Form, please follow these steps: 

1. Log into your SAU 19 Google Account and open your Google Form.

2. To avoid Google log in linking issues, click on the Settings tab.

3. Under the Responses section, turn OFF the toggle switch next to Restrict to users in School Administrative Unit #19 and its trusted organizations. The Google Form is still protected by the need to log into Schoology to access the link, but it makes accessing and completing the Google Form easier for students. If you want students to have the extra step of ensuring they are also logged in and linked to Google before completing the Google Form, then you can leave this setting toggled ON.

4. Click on Share in the upper right-hand corner.

5. Click on the link icon. You may also want to check the box next to Shorten URL. Then click Copy.

6. Log into your Schoology account and click into the Course you want to add the Google Form to.

7. Click Add Materials and select Add File/Link/External Tool from the drop-down menu.

8. Select Link.

9. Paste the link into the Link/URL text field and title the form. Then click Add.

Your Google Form will now be visible inside your Schoology Course.
