1. Open the Screen Share App on the Promethean Board. When the app opens, an ActivPanel ID will be displayed on the screen.
2. Open the Screen Share App on your laptop. Type the ActivPanel ID displayed on the Promethean Board into the Screen Share application on your laptop, enter your name so it can be identified on the Promethean Board, and then check the box to enable touchback functionality. Then click Enter Waiting Room.
Please Note: If you receive an error connecting with the Panel ID, you can click the refresh arrow to create a new ActivPanel ID. Then enter this new Panel ID into the Screen Share App on your laptop.
3. After connecting, your name will appear in the Screen Share waiting room on the Promethean Board. Select your name to grant screen-sharing access.
4. Once approved, your laptop screen will be displayed on the Promethean Board. You can present content, websites, videos, documents, and other applications wirelessly.
5. Users may interact with their laptop directly from the Promethean's Board's touchscreen (if the box was selected to enable this functionality).
6. When you are finished presenting, click the person icon on your screen and select the X or Stop Sharing to end the connection to the Promethean Board.
Screen Sharing Multiple Users at a Time
The Screen Share app supports up to four users sharing simultaneously. To display multiple devices at the same time, select the desired participants from the waiting room list and click Share. The ActivPanel screen will automatically split, allowing all selected users' content to be viewed side by side.
