How to Sync Your Schoology Sections to Soundtrap

    Educators teaching music classes in Grades 7-8 at MVMS or the Piano Lab/Elec Music at GHS has access to utilize Soundtrap. Schoology Course Sections will need to sync to Soundtrap prior to their students having access. By syncing your Schoology course sections to Soundtrap, your students will automatically be added to the correct Soundtrap group that mirrors the course sections they belong to in Schoology. To sync your Schoology Course Sections to Soundtrap, please follow the directions below:

    Please Note: Soundtrap works best when using Microsoft Edge. Midi keyboards will only work with Microsoft Edge. They will not work with Firefox.

    1. Log into Schoology.

    2. Click into your music Course with Soundtrap access. 

    3. Click on Soundtrap from the left side bar of your Course.

    You will now be logged into your Soundtrap account.

    4. Click on Groups from the left side bar and then click Sync with Schoology. 

    5. In the next dialog, select which Course Sections you wish to import and then click Sync.

    Please Note: If the check marks are greyed out, it means they've already been synced.

    The selected Schoology Course Sections have been synced, and your students will be added to the Groups in Soundtrap upon login. 

    6. Repeat these steps for any Course Sections you need to sync.
