Adding Events from the Calendar
1. Log into your Schoology account.
2. Click on the Calendar icon in the navigation menu.
3. Click on the date you want to add an event to.
4. Add the title for your event under the Title field and a description with any important information about the event in the Description field. You can use the icon options at the bottom of the Description box to attach files to the event such as flyers or order forms.
Please Note: You can use the Repeat options to repeat the event on multiple dates.
5. Under the Options section, click the Word Bubble icon to disable students' and parents' ability to comment on the event.
6. In the text field below Options you will see the word Me with a silhouette of a person. That represents your Personal Schoology Calendar. Click the X next to Me to remove it from your personal Calendar. Then start typing in the name of your Course and/or Group. Once it pre-populates, click on it. You can add the event to multiple Courses and/or Groups at a time by typing in each Course/Group into the field and clicking on it when it prepopulates.
7. You will now see only the Courses and/or Groups in this field. Click Create to add the event to the selected Course/Group Calendars in Schoology.
Adding an Event from a Course or Group
1. Log into your Schoology account.
2. Click into the Course or Group you want to add an event to.
3. On the right-hand side, next to Upcoming click Add Event.
4. Add the title for your event under the Title field and a description with any important information about the event in the Description field. You can use the icon options at the bottom of the Description box to attach files to the event such as flyers or order forms.

5. Under the Options section, click the Word Bubble icon to disable students' and parents' ability to comment on the event.
6. Click Create to add the event to that specific Course/Group Calendar.
