How to Create Your Code.org Teacher Account

    Teachers at MVMS can utilize Code.org through Schoology. Educators must first create a teacher account prior to using the resources with students. To create your account, please follow these instructions:

    1. Log into Schoology and click into the Course you want to use Code.org in.
    2. Click on the 'Code.org' icon on the left side bar.

    3. Select 'I am new to Code.org' by clicking on 'Finish creating my account'.

    4. Enter your work email (firstname.lastname@sau19.org), Display Name, and information about your school. Where it asks if they can send email updates, select 'No' and then 'Create New Account'.

    5. Now when you click on 'Code.org' from the left side bar, you will have the option to select the section you want to launch the App for in the upper left-hand corner and then click 'Continue to Code.org'.

    It will then inform you that it has been launched in a new tab.

    6. You will see a message stating that 'Your sections & students have been synced' to Code.org from Schoology. Click continue to utilize the Code.org resources.

    You are now ready to utilize Code.org with your students!
